Procurement Officer (IT & Software Category)
As our IT & Software Procurement Officer, you’ll manage the category end to end, from the first purchase request to contract renewal. You’ll work closely with IT teams, manage suppliers, negotiate better deals and help us keep software costs under control.
Future challenges
- Manage procurement of IT equipment, SaaS, software, cloud services, infrastructure, security tools and technical services
- Find and compare suppliers and resellers, negotiate prices and commercial terms
- Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance and resolve supplier-related issues
- Handle software contracts and renewals, working with Legal when needed
- Review licensing models, auto-renewal clauses, payment terms and termination conditions
- Track software subscriptions, review licence usage and identify opportunities to reduce costs
- Work closely with IT, Infrastructure, Information Security and other teams
- Help improve procurement processes, maintain supplier records and keep the renewal calendar up to date
We expect
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, ideally with IT, software or SaaS
- Practical experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations
- Good understanding of software licensing models, including per-user subscriptions, usage-based pricing, cloud credits and add-ons
- Ability to compare quotations, challenge pricing and find cost-effective alternatives
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- English at B2 level or higher
- Experience working with international suppliers is a plus
- We’re also open to candidates from related roles, such as IT administrators or IT asset managers, who have hands-on experience purchasing software and managing vendors
